This ecstasy MDMA rapid testing kit is relatively simple, inexpensive product that allows people to test unknown pills to help determine their contents. The quality of Street Ecstasy is notoriously poor; this test kit has the ability to narrow down the possible contents that can help to reduce the risks associated with the use of street ecstasy.
The MDMA Rapid test kits contains a combination of chemicals known as 'Marquis Reagent', this reagent, in this case, means a chemical or a combination of chemicals that are caused by the reaction and can be used in the testing or analyses of other chemicals. The primary use of the marquis reagent in the United States was enforced by law as a field test for the presence of amphetamine and opiates. It is only within the past 3 years that they have started to market it to the public as a harm reduction tool.
Collect the urine sample in a clean, dry container, either plastic or glass, without any preservatives. Urine specimens can be refrigerated between temperatures 2 to 8 °C and stored up to 48 hours. For longer storage, freeze the sample at -20 °C or below. Bring the frozen or refrigerated samples to the room temperature before testing. Urine sample exhibiting visible precipitates should be filtered out, centrifuged or allowed to settle. Use only clear aliquots for testing.
Review the specimen collection instructions.
Test devise, patient’s samples and controls should be brought to room temperature 20 to 30° C prior to testing. Do not open the pouch until you are ready to perform the assay.
Remove the test strip from the pouch. Label the device with patient or control number.
Fill a test tube or urine cup with the sample. Hold the strip vertically and place it into the sample container, the urine level should not be higher than the MAX level indicator line on the strip.
You may leave the strip in the sample or take the strip out after a minimum of 15 seconds and then lay the strip flatly on a non-absorptive clean, horizontal surface and then start the timer.
For each sample or control use a separate pipette and device.
Read the result between 3 to 8 minutes after the addition of the samples. Do not read the result after 8 minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Negative: Two pink or purple bands form. In addition to the control band, if a pink or purple band also appears in the test region.
Note: This immunoassay is a screening test. A negative result shows that the drug level is below the detection sensitivity. It is important to understand that the concentrations of the drug below cut off may cause a faint ghost line!± to form in the test region. This ghost line!± should be considered as a negative result.
Positive: One pink or purple line appears in the control region. No band is found in the test region. This indicates that the drug level is above the detection sensitivity level.
Invalid: If there is no pink or purple line in the control area of the strip, the test result is invalid. Retest the sample using a new device or strip.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The test kit can be stored at room temperature in the sealed pouch until the date of expiration. The test kit should always be kept away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
