Marquis reagent Lab Reagent Test Kit is used as a simple spot-test to presumptively identify alkaloids as well as other compounds. Our offered product is composed of a mixture of formaldehyde and concentrated sulfuric acid, which is dripped onto the substance being tested. It provides good field tests for a wide variety of substances. Never have more than one reagent bottle open at one time. If you mix up the caps and put the wrong cap on the wrong reagent bottle, this may cross-contaminate the reagents and destroy them. Make sure that you perform the tests in a well-lit location.
